Swift aka AnonyWS 9
Right, i decided to make a feedback as i am allowed to do so. I'm very tired of the staff direspecting members, an example would be on this status: http://webflake.sx/statuses/user/2-phun/?status_id=663 Davlin are making claims, that we are attacking ForumVolt? There are no proof. He also called us "Crackheads" for pinging forumvolt. Also serval staff members randomly put you on ignore, if your asking them one simple question. How hard can it be to be a normal staff member that can give respect to people that respcet you? Give respect, get respect... Stop making fake claims, or randomly closing statuses because you can't discuss back. Some people will say "uh, its just crackhead.. get over it" yeah it sure is just crackhead but where is the need for it? it's getting hot here :3 This is not the first time Davlin talks like he runs this forum and disrespect members.. Meh, i miss old forumcore.

Do not try to make fake claims without having any proof showing that the attacks came from my computer.
Yuu 180
I agree with you on pretty much everything you mentioned. I dislike the way some things are handled around the site, and some of the snarky remarks being made like 'Archiving this because of how much of a dumbass this user is.' and such. But, what're you gonna do about it? It's not my forum, so I'm not gonna tell them how to run it. 2 Need some IPB, MyBB, or HTML/CSS work done? Check out my thread!

Jrock 181
You totally took his reply out of context, unkind sir. Davlin wasn't attacking anyone on an individual level or calling anyone in particular a crackhead. Your IP shows you're in Norway. I assume your first language is Norwegian. Because of this, I ask that you look up the word "vigilante". I'm not on Davlin's side on this, nor on yours. I approach anything I comment on, such as this, from a neutral standpoint. Yes, Davlin rules with an iron fist. But he gets the job done and he's good at what he does. You may not like him personally, but I ask you from person to person to show him some kind of respect because we don't always deal with the nicest of members. Also, I have a feeling the status would've eventually gotten locked solely because it's just asking for drama. No one cares about what you do in your personal life, whether that does or does not include DDoSing ForumVolt. So in my opinion, anyone with allegations should keep them to themselves just to prevent more drama. We're all here to share stuff, meet new people, and learn new things. Not cause drama, spark arguments, or try and play every single card against the staff team that you think you have. Let's face it; This isn't a democracy. We don't have checks and balances. The staff team does what we think is in the best interest of the community as a whole so that we can provide a better community and resources for the masses. Some people might get pissed off. But once you've been a staff member on this site for as long as some of us have been, you deal with the same people over and over usually. So people judging our performance, trying to play victim, claiming we're abusive, trying to get people demoted, etc. just wastes our time, your time, and only adds to the drama. Honestly, this is a shit thread that was taken out of context and really has no purpose. It's the internet. Grow up.
Phun 723
Besides what Jrock just said i want to add that you've taken that post out of context. Vigilante means that you fight for what you beleive in regardless of the rules. But that's another story. Like i said in the main announcement topic (i will write it again here): While i appreciate the fact that you go ahead and defend WebFlake (with whatever technique you may want to use), it only gets us into trouble and solves nothing. Oh and also, while we didn't have proof of all of this, you did post a number of screenshots involving pinging their server. Which was probably enough proof for Davlin to lock your status. If DDoS Attack are immature for a 16 year old kid, then how old do you need to DDoS A site and not be called immature? There are still no proof that we did perform any of these attacks, other than a very few screenshots. I'm tired of the bitching staff that can't control their mouth on this forum, i am just asking for this to stop and act more serious. You're the moderator here, your supposed to moderat and not help stuff getting out of control yourself. On 6/21/2013 at 12:10 PM, Jrock said: You totally took his reply out of context, unkind sir. Administrator Tony 5,207 Posted June 21, 2013 Administrator Share Posted June 21, 2013 I initially had no intention of responding to this [pointless] topic, as Jrock pretty much summed it all up. But the last post, well.. now it's gotten my attention. First and foremost - several insinuations were made by a handful of users that they were/are behind the attacks on ForumVolt. They also openly discussed the best way to attack ForumVolt. We're not an Anonymous fan site, so discussion of hacking, DDOS, or anything of the sort really isn't necessary. I don't give a damn what you do in your personal time, whether you watch porn, pick your nose, or DDOS a website, but don't post it here. It draws unnecessary attention from "vigilantes" on other sites, and they subsequently attack WebFlake. If you become a liability to this site, rest assured, I'll cut the string. Swift (aka AnonyWS), you were placed on ignore several weeks ago by me (and likely several other Staff) after a relentless storm of belligerent Private Messages about how you were going to DDOS WebFlake, issue a charge-back for your donation, that I "suck" male anatomical parts, among all sorts of other obscenities. So no, Staff do not block people "randomly", we do it within reason. If you don't like the moderation tactics employed here, feel free to purchase a license and obtain paid support elsewhere.
Guest Jerison
Jrock was right about him taking things out of context but some staff are really dis-respectful and say things they shouldn't and are very, very unprofessional weather it be via PM or thread, but I agree with everything sanctuary said also. In which I'm sure one of the staff members are probably going to flame me for posting this and that's why I'm hesitant to post this. Chris 73
May I just add this. DDoSing doesn't make you cool, it makes you a massive dick. You are ruining other people who visit that site, not the owners - They may not even know about webflake, So they are basically like you and me, think how you feel when webflake is down. You most likely will revert to one of these 'other' sites to get your content when you need to. DDoSing is never cool, it is actually a disrespectful and in my eyes the stupidest and most selfish thing you can do on the internet. Many people DDoS because they are jealous or just hate people behind the site, not giving a flying Flake for the people who actually use the site, like many of us do. So actually - any response done by a staff member is in their rights, all who have DDoSed another site, such as ForumCore, are immature and arrogant brats. I actually followed along with what was going along with Phun's status, you do it without command, either way it is wrong. Reverting to this is stupid. Thank You and Good night!

Administrator Tony 5,207 Posted June 22, 2013 Administrator Share Posted June 22, 2013 Actually, it's speculation to assume that he hasn't DDOS'ed anything. I'm more inclined to believe that he has, based on prior threats against myself and even WebFlake. I certainly appreciate those who have spoken out against DDOS attacks. It's always good to know that a few sensible people still remain in this world, but please remember, I cannot and will not condone any abusive behavior toward those who use such tactics. If you see posts encouraging it, bragging about it, etc.. report them and they will be handled accordingly. Having said that, I do believe this conversation has run its course (and AnonyWS is no longer with the community), therefore.. locked.
