Problems installing various applications

Basically what happens, is I do the standard install procedure (dragging admin and public on to my root, overwriting), but then the app won't let itself be installed... it just doesn't "show up" on the sidebar @Manage Applications and HooksSome applications work, some don't; it's really strange. Help please ASAP!!Here's some stuff, just for troubleshooting purposes:- Yes, I've checked versions; I'm on 3.4.3- Yes, all apps are compatible with 3.4.x- Yes, they upload correctly and show up in /admin/application_addons/others/- Some work, some don't...Thanks in advance!-ParticleBumping this, I REALLY need help guys :S

make sure the permission are correct either  777 or 755
