littledevil 0 Posted May 11, 2019 Share Posted May 11, 2019 See, I have pretty much every modern console that exists on the planet, I still can't usually stand a game without being bored in a matter of hours. Do we buy games and sodomise ourselves trying to play it because we spent money on it, or do we play because we actually enjoy them? From my experience, a free viral game such as Fortnite or Smite is much more enjoyable than my whole library worth thousands of dollars. As are movies, they're usually fine and you're glad they're over after just 2 hours. For some games, 2 hours is just the tutorial. \ Besides my Nintendo Switch, those are genuinely enjoyable games. Tricky 239 Posted May 11, 2019 Share Posted May 11, 2019 Well for me im an older gamer I remember having an Atari 2600 and a Nintendo Nes but I do enjoy a good bash on the PS4 but I do find that a lot of games are the same old same old with a lot of fun taken out. But then the likes of Fallout 4 was just well mind blowing and Bioshock series the advances them games made when released was just amazing. But yes I do tend to give games a fair go if I buy them. AntiMetaman 22 Posted May 12, 2019 Share Posted May 12, 2019 These days, the games take a long time to grind and complete. I just watch youtube with cutscenes and it's like watching a movie. Sekiro, for example, I didn't buy but just watched others play it. Same thing for Spiderman PS4. New games are always coming out and I don't have time to play each one myself.
