qnkov 4
Hello guys. I've aways had this msg on my admin panel. I'm even using last IPS. What will be the problems with my outdated mysql? What should i expect, despite it says it could run anyway now? Your server does not meet our recommendations. This may prevent you from upgrading to future versions of Invision Community. You are running MySQL version 5.5.59-cll. While this version is compatible, future releases of our software will require version 5.6.2 or above. You should contact your hosting provider or system administrator and ask them to resolve these issues. Edited May 1, 2019 by qnkov
Head Guru 106
In future releases / versions of IPS you might not be able to upgrade without upgrading your mySQL. That is what you should expect and is the simplest answer to your question. qnkov 4
I've asked them. They told me that they need to transfer all files to another server. I have 3 sites on this server, so i'm not sure if something won't broken.

S!r.ReaDy 120
If your host has a Web panel, they can select from there,(so you do if you have access to Cpanel, web panel), or use the shell to manually upgrade. It's stupid to move forums because MySQL outdated ( and u don't know how to fix it)
