LoyaltyScape 1
Currently having trouble setting up the Email setting on IPS v4.4.2 , currently when trying to send verification emails I get this error failure to send " server did not accept message for delivery but provided no error message." was just curious what email settings you guys are using ? when I try to send a test email to my self I get this "IPS\Email\Outgoing\Exception: email_test_mailfunction_disabled (0) " also when I try to change it from PHP to SMTP to test the settings this pops up "A test email could not be sent. Check the settings entered are correct or contact your hosting or SMTP provider for more information. 535 Incorrect authentication data" any ideas? 535 Incorrect authentication data

Check that your mail settings are all correct. Post a screenshot of your settings for email will help us troubleshoot the issue for you. Hey Lindy, I'm PsYcHo_RaGE 31
i guess you need to know how smtp works. first create an email account in cpanel if you have and note both the email and the password you would set now again after done creating it, goto to manage email and it will open a new windows then will redirect to the settings you have to use for smtp email integration. keep the tabs open and open the admincp, now goito email settings and add your email account and below add pass and mailhost etc and also set the protocol to ssl instead if tcp or plain/text. if you need more information just pm me or reply here
mdhd345 1
The first error "IPS\Email\Outgoing\Exception: email_test_mailfunction_disabled (0) " pops up when there is no mail server specified in the php settings. The SMTP error appears when the entered details are invalid or if the SMTP server is unreachable.
