What is the strongest suited eCommerce platform?

Right now, I am staring down two primary options, and they are IPS.Community Commerce and WooCommerce. 

But really, what I am looking for is this:

• Referred Sales Commissions (IPS has it) (Woo - has issues)
• User group based pricing (IPS has it, but 4.3.6 seems clunk-ish) (Woo - configuration is clunky)
• Gift Cards (IPS has it) (WooCommerce has it, but honestly its really weak)
• Speed (IPS is fast) (WooCommerce can be fast but overall it seems pretty damned heavy.)
• Payment Gateways Authorize.NET + PayPal (IPS + Woo both have this)
• Coupons (IPS + Woo both have this)

But here is where I am at...

IPS 4.3.6, until I can get it upgraded and working, isn't working, and WooCommerce is just too heavy. I can't use Shoppify, SquareSpace, Wix, or Weebly (most self-respecting webmasters stay away from these anyway).

I'm a little curious about Magento and other cart solutions, but at this point, I need some other opinions. I've been spinning my tires in the sand for the last week on this thing, and I need a self-hosted solution to make it work for us. 

What is your favorite eCommerce shopping cart solution and why? Is it feature rich? Is it fast?

if we talk a real e-commerce solution you can forgot IPS ... the commerce application is just a bonus in the cms but is far away to have all option need for a ggod commerce solution and after that after that depends on your abilities and your needs but overall the 3 best solution are :

• woo commerce : bad for multilanguage solution
• magento : bad for people who don't know coding and plugin are expensive
• prestashop : plugin are expensive

And for beginner with no skills in coding the best solution is prestashop who are free with a template who use elementor (50 dollars) with this you have a real ecommerce and elementor send you the same facility like wordpress for create your page

I guess i get what you mean that ipb's eCommerce suite is just a "addon" but honestly i disagree.

you can disable the rest of the "software" like forums pages calendar etc and just use ipb's eCommerce suite which is fantastic by the way!!!!!!!!! you can also make coupons in ipb's eCommerce suite and configure the use of gift cards with third party ad-dons if you really want too dig in.

so my vote goes towards ipb's fantastic eCommerce suite! hands down the best out there!

For my large scale clients eCommerce websites i tend to use Magento. So far it is the best I have come across when running large online stores.

is possible but you look all the modification you make for this if you disable all application for use just ecommerce what the point to installed a IPS suite ^^

I agree it may not be feature rich and action packed but it is solid and good enough to use as an e-commerce platform. The issue I think most have is its styling, a store that looks like a forum, plain, and not visually appealing at all can be a turn off. This is done by design for all the IPS applications though styling is not as important as the app functionality. This is where templating comes in cause they leave it to you to design an exciting, visually appealing interface and as a developer I can appreciate that. Lets me decide and control how it will look and fit into my sites theme.
