s1l3nc3ss 0
you think it's good to put clouflare on a forum? I use it on mine, but I don't know if it interferes with anything. (I'm still new at the IPS)
Triqqy 61
It's a good idea to use CloudFlare so it's harder for people to find who is your host. It shouldn't interfere with anything, it should work flawlessly.

But with the default Cloudflare Settings the VPS Mailserver will expose the real Server IP, isn`t it? Is there a fix for this?
Smirfnoff 1
I've been considering using it, but was highly concerned about performance and optimization (especially with chatbox). Has anyone used Cloudflare with the chatbox plugin?
Triqqy 61
It's fairly fast for me, it caches everything to the latest tea. I hadn't had any issue with them regarding chatbox or anything that needed up-to-date things.

kabouter 0
i'd recommend using cloudflare if you can't afford using a paid solution.

Caman 0
in my opinion- cloudflare. you have more solutions for... for example, you change hosting, and with normal process you have to wait 24h (?) or someting for update all DNS. With CF thats moment
Frood 0
Sometimes when I browse through CF enabled sites it seems to appear as offline, meaning I won't be able to get onto the site as a result of that though?

derfstew 0
I use cloudflare for my websites. Its another piece of mind to have. You do need to know how to hide cpanel defaults if your host is using cpanel. Pretty cool website to use to check your domain is https://intodns.com it will give you some useful information regarding your webserver, DNS, MX, etc. The Attack mitigation is flawless and for it being free its crazy not to unless you feel like paying for a ddos mitigated service and do your own level 7 filtering. Find all of your webservers IP's and then start crawling google for "Free Cloudflare Resolvers" and using them to see if your domain is some how getting back to your host's original IP address. By default its easy to get your Original IP by subdomains, MX records, Port Scanning, etc.
Imunal 0
CloudFlare doesn't mask your machine IP perfectly. The easiest method to leak IP of the machine while using CF on IPS is avatar upload via URL. There is a topic on IPS Community about it. Link Personally i'm only using CF for free SSL.
