LordOfSpoon 1 Posted February 19, 2019 Share Posted February 19, 2019 It all depends on what you're using it for and what you require out of the software. myBB is much easier to edit for first time forum owners, whereas IPB can be vastly complex for a new or even intermediate forum owner. I started over 10 years ago on phpbb the progressed into SMF, then myBB. Stayed with myBB for years. That software taught me how to code. However, at the end of the day IPB is the powerful workhorse that gets the job done.
