wirarreka 0
I've tried many, including phpBB, mybb, smf, xenforo, ipb, nulledbb and others.. The one which suited for me the best was Xenforo. What's your opinion?
RainbowDash 14
I have tried many too, from MyBB to Xen and IPB, My favorite for the speed and the simplicity to use was Flarum but it's still under development and currently is hard to make a real community with only Flarum. IPS Community for me still the #
YIПGYΛПG 1
I have used other forums only as members. IPS is customizable af and therefore pretty good. Look at the design of vbulletin for example ... its like still being in 2k xD
TheGame 0
I only use IPS these days because they seem to develop the most features I need. I used to use XenForo but the feature set is lacking now.
Hi Lord 0
ips is functionally the best, but xenforo has a lot more premium options to just buy and use imo
S!r.ReaDy 120
Xenforo is good for people who want a smooth, nice website. It's easy to customize. Other is quite outdated. You can go With IPS is you are confident in what you want/can do. Edited February 16, 2019 by S!r.ReaDy
crazydevil 0
IPS is the most satisfying for me as a developer and administrator. Actually most of the users also love it. Xenforo is ok, vBulleti and phpBB are not the best option nowadays. I have never used SMF but I don't think I need to.
bigdank 0
IPS is an all in one solution but it is heavy on resources. Xenforo is my go to because of its ease of use
Erme 1
I cannot wait for Flarum to come out of development, it'd be nice to see what people can use out of it. Discourse and IPB have to be my choices, Discourse's functionality is amazing and IPB is more customizable than any others I have used, including Xenforo. antarsis 3
If we are talking about a general website my choice would probably be joomla. Forum? IPS for sure. Well.. IPS is getting a lot better nowadays, you could make almost anything out of it and it's so beautiful and modern looking. For example I have made someone an online store for clothes I was thinking about magento, but then I realized it's much easier to use IPS.

MoneyMafia 1
If you are talking about CMSes in general I would say the best is Wordpress. I see you are naming some forum engines there and I go with Invision Community as paid but If I would have to choose a free one I would choose myBB.
