bigdank 0
+1 for ESET It will usually detect new viruses the fastest and the in memory scans are good.

ThunderBlue 0
I've been using avast for years and I've always felt good. Much also depends on the type of sites that you will see. Malwarebite can also be used to detect and remove infected traces. In any case, they are two programs that also offer discreet protection free of charge. VENAXIS 0
Avast Free Antivirus. You can bundle it with something like Comodo Firewall, which for me works perfectly if you know what you're doing, and understand how to block/unblock programs. KomodoByte 6
After years of pirating software, I finally found one company worth paying for because of what they provide and the company's profile; MalwareBytes. I strongly recommend them. Edited February 3, 2019 by KomodoByte
Head Guru 106
Depends if you are wanting to pay for anti virus or want a free one. For a paid one, I have use Trend Micro but have recently changed to Avast and works well. For a good free one you can use AVG Free. It has been around for years and does what you need it to do. S!r.ReaDy 120
ESET is ok. Malwarebytes has failed every test with viruses. Avast and Avira did 70% good but failed against ransomware. I recommend getting a paid license for any of them. Virus protection is not enough. Getting internet protection is needed. I personally use ESET Smart Security Premium . I used Kaspersky before. Every antivirus failed against ransomware if forced. So, having an antivirus doesn't mean you are safe. ShadowS 0
+1 Avast Using it for a year and never got any problems. The sounds when it found a virus or something are littlebit annoying.
