AndyRixon 1
I use Plex Media Server, works on most things like PC, Phone or Tablet/iPad. Works great, looks great. I find it better than Netflix because you have more control, plus it won't get filled with a load of films that you have never heard off.

Yeah, and that's what I love it for. From Netflix I watch, when it comes up, just two or three series. The seasons are seen through relatively quickly, and then you wait almost a year for the next episodes. So what should I pay almost 10 EUR a month for if I can't find anything for myself there for half a year? I then preferred to invest this investment in a Plex Pro Lifetime Pass and at the right time also saved on its price. As long as there are also pages where I can find my series, Plex offers me the safe haven to park them there and watch them whenever I want. Also, with Netflix, I can't invite anyone to watch my TV-recorded shows, movies, and/or series. I also play with the idea of moving a Plex server to a cloud PC later on. Of these there are more and more, so that also in this segment the prices will continue to fall.
Babymetal 5
I got a 32TB NAS with my media on it and currently playing it with the builtin Plex-App on my TV. I will be getting a Vero 4K+ mediaplayer though because I really don't like Plex at all.
MeekMerk 1
Nothing is better than a Synology NAS. All Linux based apps as well as the OS it's built on. So very secure and I've never had any data loss. Unlike other NAS that I have used in the past.

Humaniac 2
For just over a month now, several QNAP NAS have been infected by malware that has not caused any damage to my device, at least, but has prevented updates from being installed. With great probability the perpetrators tried to block updates from Malware Removers. However, this attempt was relatively stupid, since one could remove all harmful files and manipulated entries by means of manual installation of the Malware Remover. Now everything works as usual again. My Plex Media Server is now also accessible from the outside again.
