Question Not able to post in bug tracker

Newbies don't have access due to a previous issue with new users flooding our Bug Tracker and Suggestions Tracker with file requests, complaints about file limits, etc.

For the moment, given that you don't have access to the tracker, you're welcome to share the bug here and I'll address it.

I just wanted to comment on this issue that user submitted

This actually is issue and it's on smaller resolution, but also could be seen on bigger resolutions too.

This is from 12 inch Macbook.

Scroll appears.

After the scroll.

And on bigger monitor, that's like ~26inch, you can see how it is not aligned, navigation and widgets on side.

Not such big deal, or deal breaker, but should be fixed if possible.

Tried different sections of downloads, and appears that only occurs in this Themes section for 4.3

Few things to note right away:

  • It's a closed ticket so even if you had access to the tracker, you wouldn't be able to respond anyway.
  • It's a ticket that was created long before we released our Halloween themes.

That said, it's still not an issue on our end. When testing with both my 24-in widescreen and 32-in curved monitors, I'm unable to replicate the issue. Hell, I tried casting the display to a 49" TV with varying levels of scaling and still couldn't reproduce this. No one on our team can reproduce this issue locally either.

What you're seeing is some combination of resolution, screen size, DPI, and browser settings. This is not an issue we can rectify for you.

I know i can't reply to it, i wanted to make a new one.

I have tried 3 different monitors and all have same issue, so i don't know how is it something to do with browser settings? And how is it not visible on any other section, just this one. Pretty weird to be honest. Somehow one section in that page is bigger then others, so i think that's causing issue here.

Any modern browser supports a variety of custom resolutions, DPI, zoom, global font scaling, etc. Plugins can break CSS as well.

We've had two reports of this issue and despite testing by more than a dozen individuals, have been unable to reproduce. It's clearly an isolated issue.

Both elements, nav and container, have the same max-width with a flex wrap for x-small and x-large resolutions.

So, short of 99.99% of this community having faulty systems, it's safe to say it's not an issue with the site.
