They both have their ups and downs while Andriod is more open and customizable it also suffers from its edgy feeling and the feeling of it being badly stitched together where iOS, in my opinion, feels nicer to use and more fluid but doesn't let you do much of the core look and feel. Although I think there are different variations of the software being used on different phone brands, like Mi v Samsung.
