antarsis 3
What if I want to create a site, that favors user privacy? Is it possible to turn off the IP address logging? Or even change it to 127.0.0.1 to everyone like I was hosting a site on Tor? Cheers!
Jeffrey 366
Go into the database and find the core_members table. Remove the table that displays IP Addresses. Then, in the admin cp, you can disable moderators and administrators from seeing IP Addresses. Even so, you can edit the current theme you're using and remove the code that displays IP's on posts. antarsis 3
Thanks but i don't think that's a quick fix future ip addresses would be still saved in the database.
