There are different SSL types to use. If you just want to get domain validated, you you use Let's Encrypt SSL which is free. 2. You need to install the generated SSL in your webserver (IIS, Apache, Ngnix, etc) 3. Configure your webserver to redirect http to https and set your wordpress default URL to https.
