Popular hosts like GoDaddy will absolutely honor such DMCA requests but depending on site traffic and whether or not a visitor reports your site to IPS will determine whether or not you can continue using them. I've personally used GoDaddy for years without an issue, with several communities, but I also make an effort to ensure my community looks "legit". Alternatively, find off-shore hosting but then you run the risk of that host offering poor support and/or uptime as well. Ultimately, we can't tell you where to host your site.
