Stormie 7
Hello, Hello, Hello! Hello Web Flakers, My name is Stormie, you can call me Storm if you are two lazy to type 2 more letters, I don't care. I am a highly advanced web developer who specializes in developing web programs and I also specialize in website security (such as ensuring websites aren't trying to steal data you don't want them to steal such as passwords or private information without your knowing). I am 18 years old, and about to graduate high school (in two weeks this won't be relevant cause I will have graduated). I will be going to college for Computer Science with an emphasis on IT Management. If you have any questions about website development or design (I am not a programmer - not yet anyways, so don't ask me programming questions), feel free to message me. I do not do commissions or projects for anyone unless I truly think I can make the time, if you really need something done, throw me a message and I'll be straight up honest with you whether I can or cannot do it (skill-wise or time-wise). If you need help with ANY forum software from MyBB to IP.B to XenForo (and a few others I know), hit me up. I've been working with forum software since I was 9 years old (yes I've been in web development since I was very young, I'd say about 8 or 9 years old, I was a computer fanatic). Thanks for checking out my intro, would love to help grow this community, seems like a great one. Your Friend, Stormie
Cookie Monster 673
Welcome to webflake @Stormie Glad to see that others take the path I didn't do. Question, you say you specilize in developing web programs ? What type of languages is this for ? Or care to give me an example. Well or the security part ? Also a tiny tip, make sure you check out our Community Guidelines Edited April 30, 2017 by Cookie Monster Quote Liked what i posted remember to feed me a cookie ->Or you can add a cookie to my

Question, you say you specilize in developing web programs ? What type of languages is this for ? Or care to give me an example. Well or the security part ? Also a tiny tip, make sure you check out our Community Guidelines I primarily use the basics, very simple languages to learn which I always recommend to learn even if you're going to be the slightest computer nerd: HTML, PHP, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, and Bootstrap. All of these are good to at least understand, even if you don't plan to go into web development hope that answers your question. As for web security, I am as simply as I can put it, a white hat hacker. I like to help test the strength of websites by providing feedback to ensure websites are using top notch privacy. If I see any loopholes I generally release a note to the public body and send a note to the web master (so I can do my job of notifying the users of a website what their current privacy actions are like). I can also scroll through someone else's code (which I'd prefer) and easily find loopholes, for example, last week I was helping a friend, and they were not encrypting passwords AT ALL (which means they can see what your password is and anyone who would happen to hack the website would see as well). It's a very beneficial field, I've made thousands of dollars doing things like that, and I'm not even in college yet Thank you!

(Well dead and dead good language but not very used anymore) jQuery is not a language and neither is Bootstrap, jQuery is a simplified JavaScript library while Bootstrap is a Framework. Though for white hackers. I do love the part of security myself only tinker around with some aspects of Kali etc. But then again its all about keeping an open mind. Yeah, I know about jQuery and Bootstrap, it's all grouped differently, it's just what I use a lot so I was listing what I use for my general web development projects, if that makes sense (sorry I listed them as languages, didn't take you as a technical person). As for PHP, I still find it very useful in creating websites, I guess maybe I just haven't learned the new stuff yet, but I'm pretty lazy so I'll wait lol. Hacking is kind of overused thought, "today's hackers" are stupid and useless, I don't think hacking is very relevant as we slowly become more intelligent with fixing loopholes and bugs, but obviously there are always flaws, and I think we have to start looking at it in more directions than 1. We will progress very slowly if we only look at it from one side (which is what a hacker sees). It's an interesting topic, would love to discuss it some day, but I'm still a young person in that area, so I only know some of the basics beyond general standards.
