Hello from Soouthern Michigan, USA

Hello everyone,
I am going to try and introduce myself. Hopefully it will be short and sweet.

  • I hail from southern Michigan, but was born and raised in the great state of Alabama.

  • I am married to a loving wife with 3 grown children and 4 grandchildren which are the greatest thing the good lord
gave to my wife and I.

  • Graduated from the local high school with some great honors. One of them is...to get the hell out as quick as I can!

  • I am a 2 time veteran. I served in the Viet-Nam war conflict and again in the Gulf War conflict. I came out a disabled
vet because of enemy missiles/guns shot me down.

  • I am trying to live the rest of my life...helping others and doing the best for both family and friends.

  • Trying to please the doctors at the VA hospital and/or clinics.

So you can see that I have my hands full at all times (with either with the grandchildren or friends!). The reason for all of this is:
I might be slow in answering you or that I might not put my question(s) in the corrected place. My mind is not 100% now a days
and I might need for someone to help me get out of thick of things!
This is a great forum and I have been a member for almost 2 years and so far (knocking on plywood  ), not a harsh word from
any one on here!! So please, if I need some help and/or a questions to be answered...bear with me and my lousy mind..ok?

Enough said and I hope everyone on here have the best ever and you take your life "one day at a time!"

btw... I think all of you can guess about how old I am and might be that old to be your father or even your grandfather!

Glad to have you as part of the community. Thank you for your service.

I'm sure you are much older than most of our members but I think that is what helps make our site interesting and unique. We have all kinds of people around these parts.

I assume you are involved in running a forum, does it pertain to military-related subjects or another interest of yours?

Hello Jrock,
Thanks for answering my need!!  I have not decided on what my forum/community is going to be!

I am thinking in the line of the military vets world wide, but I will have to take it slow and easy tho.

Thanks again for answering!
Have a awesome and safe one
