vB 5 is pretty nice, its even got a DIY option, such as making new page, sidebar, navbar, header etc....But...It doesnt have enough good skins/themes

Right now using ipb 4.0 cuz i renewed it....what sucks about ipb is that u can freaking make pages without ip.content or a plugin...which is a total rip off.

In my opinion Invision Power Board is the best and most easy to use forum software which is available at the moment. I have tried vBulletin and xenForo, but I am sorry (no offence), I hate them. It might be because I am using IP.Board for about 4 years now, I know most of the functions.

VB and xF doesn't look really easy to use.

For me, IP.Board.

Don't u think ipb should add a free like page manager feature?

NodeBB is extremely aesthetically pleasing, but I have not had the opportunity to work with the backend. It seems promising considering they haven't even released version 1.0 (they're still in beta), it seems quite amazing. I am confused about why they have pricing on their website if you can download it for free. The software seems slightly over simiplistic, looks like it may be lacking a few features. It reminds me a lot of GitHub with Font Awesome and a cleaner design. Very modern (as advertised).

I was a major XenForo fan for a long time and knew a lot about it and even coded a few add-ons. Then I found WebFlake and fell in love with IPB. And the release of IPS 4.x further solidified my love of it.

No. IP.Content is really good for its price. Otherwise, use a nulled or retail version.

Where exactly did you see that it can be downloaded for free? The pricing on their website are for forums hosted by them on their servers. Similar to how IPS has the 'community in the cloud' offer.

Their forum software is free and open source. You can find it on GitHub or have their servers host the forum for you.

vBulletin used to be a really great, competitive platform. You can see many users use old versions to-date, but as they switched owners, it's been a steady downward trend for vB. The newest version lacks everything, plugins and so forth, not to mention the bad admin backend interface; you're looking for something for 5 mins.
