I signed up November of last year but have been completely inactive with the account until now. I decided after returning here for an IPB addon I needed, that I would become a part of the community and kind of "return the favor" by posting what I know about webdesign and IP.Board, even if it is very little. I figure since you guys provided me with stuff I could use, I would "earn it" by doing so in return. A little about me (since this is an introduction). I am a simple guy who got into web design at about 9 making simple HTML pages and then getting into a little CSS some time later. I continued to hand code HTML and soaked up as much as I could up until the end of middleschool. I also self taught myself image editing and creation with Photoshop along the way. When I got into highschool I took digital and web design and learned more about using Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Flash, InDesign, and some Visual Basic programming. I become certified in Adobe Flash, Dreamweaver and Photoshop my senior after taking their certification exams provided by my school. I have setup quite a few websites along the way, with only 1 achieving slight success, but I am currently in the mix of setting up a gaming themed website to provide users with a gaming environment that doesn't rely on biased reviews and built on honest research and open-minded opinions. I figure if I can get it going that it will be a nice project and kind of a "Breath of fresh air" so to speak in the gaming community niche. In the future I want to teach myself PHP, Java, and Actionscript programming. (If anyone knows any good resources for absolute beginners, a PM would be much appreciated! ) That's all folks! Have A Great Day. Don't worry guys, I read pretty much any rules page I could locate. The community rules, signature rules, file upload rules, all that good jazz. I actually WANTED to make sure I didn't break any to avoid get reprimanded and not knowing why.
