Seathre 26 Posted October 24, 2014 Share Posted October 24, 2014 Nowadays laptops and desktops are both just a powerful however laptops will be more expensive for the same specs than in a desktop as the parts are built to be more compact were in a desktop, space isn't an issue. So the deciding factor is, will you be wanting to move around a lot with your computer? If so, I'd suggest a laptop. For the average user, this is true. Gaming is a different story however, since 6 core and higher processors and dual-graphics card setups create absurd amounts of heat. Regardless, fitting the same amount of power in a gaming laptop still costs more, and is more trouble to upgrade than a tower. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
