Developers play a vital role in establishing the foundation and evolution of the software, applications, and systems that WebFlake deploys. As a back end developer, you will be working with a small, flexible team. You must be a clear thinking problem solver and be able to demonstrate creativity and innovation. Well structured and efficient code is paramount to your workload.
Your role will be varied and involve bug fixing, peer reviews, helping refine technical aspects and contribute code towards new functionality for WebFlake.

Key Responsibilities
- Write workable, testable, and efficient code by using sound development processes.
- Cooperate with other team members to develop new features.
- Troubleshoot and refine existing code and systems.
- Create and maintain software documentation both in and out of code.
- Availability via Discord for off-site communication with the team.
The most important characteristic is a willingness to learn and to take on new challenges. The role is varied and you can be providing advice in our support forums or crafting code for our latest features. Understand that while we don't often implement restrictive deadlines, this role is not intended to be a part-time hobby. Commitment is a must.
Skills & Experience
- Significant experience as a PHP developer.
- Significant experience with Invision Community Suite.
- Experience with HTML, CSS and JS.
- Experience with MySQL.
- Experience with GitHub.
- Experience with various web services such as OAuth, SAML, REST, etc.
- Experience working with a smaller team that emphasizes personal responsibility.
The depth of experience can vary between developers. Please apply even if some of these areas are not your strongest points.

- Can handle considerable overlap with the EST time zone.
