Must admit I did purchase an original license for vB. The support was great (most of the time) but iirc I had to slip a guru a few dollars to fix up problems I had over the years. One good thing was the Tapatalk forum app (not sure if there is such a thing for IPS?). But yeah, it was forever going wrong with database issues, an awkward backend system that required a degree in fathoming, expensive licenses and really lost it's direction from v4. Shame!

I had this exact same issue when I upgraded. Not too sure I should have tampered with the friendly url toggle. Gave up trying to manually fix and went for a clean install then a new conversion cycle. Probably was an easier way to fix it but I wasn't looking for it lol. Tip: Leave the friendly url button alone
