Yes. PageSpeed provides some good insights for improving the performance of any website, be they a forum or blog or other. Find it here: https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/ Basic. That said, just running a pagespeed audit is not enough. You have to be able to take the advice it spits out and do something about it. Actually improving this score requires some experience. Fortunately, plenty of people have run into similar problems. And 99% of the time you can find your actual question already answered. Just use Google. Advanced. If you are an advanced webmaster and find pagespeed too basic, you can use the Lighthouse tool that comes built-in with Google Chrome. It can run additional audits.

Reviewing the admin settings, I cannot find this option either. So it appears to be member-set for each individual.

To help you achieve these steps, here are some helpful tools I'm personally using as well: For the SSL certificate via Let's Encrypt: https://wordpress.org/plugins/ose-lets-encrypt/ To enable and force HTTPS for all your URL's: https://wordpress.org/plugins/https-redirection/ Someone will certainly comment that this can be achieved in other ways without resorting to the use of plugins. But in the case of this question, I believe the simpler solution would be to just use these pre-existing plugins. That should be enough for OP to get started.

This topic question is too broad. It'd be more interesting if you directly compare specific models. Because there are good and bad on both ends. That way the feedback you get would be more honest instead of generalisations.

Much appreciated. Thank @Davlin. This seems to do the trick. Mind you, the Discord #welcome channel still contains the one that didn't work for me. So it could be there might be other members who are experiencing the same problem.

Hi there good people of WebFlake, About a week ago I joined this lovely community. That has left a positive impression. Yesterday, I wanted to go a bit deeper and join the Discord server. That's where I ran into the following issue in #welcome Seems easy to do so I followed that link. Unfortunately, the page I end up on is mostly blank except for on ad. I guessing it's not supposed to be like this. I've inspected the source code with the usual dev tools, but there doesn't seem to be anything. Is this a known issue? How can move past this hurdle? Your feedback and advice are appreciated.
