I've got an honor 8 running with Android and i moved recently to IOS with the Iphone XR. Currently following Antutu benchmarks Iphones XR, XS and XS max are far the best smartphones lately as they have the best performances but they're also the most expensive ones. I'd commend you to get an Iphone for the design, IOS environnement if you also have others apple products and have the money to spend in. Otherwise, you should get an Android as they're cheaper, have a good quality overall and way more open than IOS.

IPB is way better, your ACP is easy to manipulate and Invision has done a great job since 4.X came out a year ago or so. Furthermore, IPB is more esthetic than myBB.

It will depend how you want to use it. I do also have a mackbok pro 2017 and it's amazing. Battery last for about 10 hours what ever you're doing. People working as a developper, programmer or designer would recommand you this laptop
