i would use smf because of its plugins but then again as @Tricky said why not just use ipb there is soo much support for it.

i am hoping this is the right section to post this but i am looking to modify how profile photos work. i have a system for a game that generates an avatar of the players character with equiped gear and a few other options. right now using a link as an avatar for ipb does not seem to work. this photo updates and shows if the player is online ingame so its not a static image which is why i wanted to know if there i s a way to modify it to work with a link to nonstatic image.

in 2018? windows 5-10 years ago probably Linux or even iOS since they were pushing out updates every 30 years i dont like that. the only thing i see ios useful for is a smartphone. ios tablets are glorified i phones and mac osx while beautiful lacks a lot of software.
