    Wtf, why you try to put a backup on your server if it's a (d)dos attack ? Do you lost any files pending the attack ? IF no you dont need to run a backup... Contact your hosting server provider.

    No, a (d)DoS attack dont give you a 404 error. It can give you a 503 error or a timeout (like the screenshoot at the first post). But if you run your forum on a dedicated machine you can easily manage your firewall for block that. :) @mac00 Try to ping your website for see if it's up or not. or use http://www.isup.me/

    Based on the official tutorial (but with lots of extra features!), I made a simple plugin to allow for custom page header messages. You can change the styling, the icon, choose what groups the message appears for, and allow/disallow users to dismiss the header message. It uses the WYSIWYG editor, so you should be able to change the formatting however you want. When you update the message, the dismissals will be reset so users will see the new message. Here's my to-do list for upcoming features I hope to implement: Since you can specify what group sees a message, I should allow for multiple messages, so you can have one for groupa and groupb, and another for groupc. Or just multiple! "When you update the message, the dismissals will be reset" - I will make this a standalone button. More styles.     Hello. My Board is on IPB 1.4.7. We are a community from PhpBB merged to IPB. I would like to purge all custom rank from all off my users. The rank system doesn't work correctly beceause when the convert was made, the rank of members was set with the name of the Previous Group they have. So a lot of my current members have a custom rank with "Registred Users" and the IPB rank system doesn't give them the new rank when they reach the number of posts for a new rank (correctly set-up) Idk if i can reset a table with all custom ranks only (i dont want to loose the IPB rank system settings) If you have any idea.
