Kinda. I mean I can see the advantages and disadvantages. Where it's cheap on the short run, just playing games for a few months. No big deal not that much money spent. But in the long run, you're going to/could be paying a monthly fee that could end up being more than a price of a full console/pc in total. (I haven't looked into the price) Personally, I'm not a fan, I like owning my hardware/games (Also you can sell the old games/hardware in the future, yeah they won't be as valuable but will still sell). It's going to be very connection dependent, you'll be surprised at the number of people with a bad connection. I haven't looked into it too much but what about input lag and high latency? That'll put you at a large disadvantage to other players.
  2. @Cookie Monster Thanks for the tip however i went back to Apache2 on Linux VM this time However i thought just moving the forums over would work out of the box as the database is still running (Hasn't been touched) but when you enter the forums i get (See screenshot below) Edit: Apache2 log: PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function IPS\\mb_internal_encoding() in /var/www/virtual/cpgaming.co.uk/forums/init.php:131\nStack trace:\n#0 /var/www/virtual/cpgaming.co.uk/forums/init.php(835): IPS\\IPS::init()\n#1 /var/www/virtual/cpgaming.co.uk/forums/index.php(11): require_once('/var/www/virtua...')\n#2 {main}\n thrown in /var/www/virtual/cpgaming.co.uk/forums/init.php on line 131 EDIT2: --FIXED-- i was dumb and didnt use the ips4 check requirement script and i was missing alot of extentions, you may close this thread.
  3. Well, i gave up on Apache as it likes to crash.. So i have been ripping my hair out for the past few hours trying to get php to play nicely with nginx.. So let me tell you how far i have got.. PHP files only work in the root directory, if i go to the /forums then it doesn't work (Message displayed: "No input file specified."). Why doesn't PHP work globally like it does on Apache (By globally i mean you dont have to specify the directories you want php to work on) am i seriously missing something? Here is my nginx config for one of my servers(don't judge i just started nginx and it's a pain in the a$$) Feel free to try the links out your self, i have 2 info.php files: cpgaming.co.uk/info.php cpgaming.co.uk/forums/info.php server { listen 192.168.0.19:80; root html\cpgaming.co.uk; index index.html index.htm index.php; server_name cpgaming.co.uk *.cpgaming.co.uk; location ~ \.php$ { try_files $uri =404; fastcgi_split_path_info ^(.+\.php)(/.+)$; fastcgi_pass 127.0.0.1:9000; fastcgi_index index.php; fastcgi_param SCRIPT_FILENAME $document_root$fastcgi_script_name; include fastcgi.conf; } location / { #try_files $uri $uri/ =404; autoindex on; } } anyhelp will be great thanks.
  4. Adding that to custom.css gives the exact same thing Fixed by changing this: {{if theme.picker_i1}} .background, .box-blur{ background-size: 100vw calc(1489 / 1400 * 100vw); } .box-blur-image{ max-height: calc(1489 / 1400 * 100vw); } {{endif}} To: {{if theme.picker_i1}} .background, .box-blur{ /*background-size: 100vw calc(1489 / 1400 * 100vw);*/ background-position: 50% 0; background-attachment: fixed; background-size: cover; } .box-blur-image{ max-height: calc(1489 / 1400 * 100vw); } {{endif}} OR Read the top of the custom.css (I'm stupid)
  5. First of all sorry if this is not the place to ask I have the Villain Theme working on 4.2.2 and the background does not looked stretched like the Chameleon Dark Theme, how can i fix this? Villain : https://gyazo.com/0d5ad39a1d024b59c43be9aef7663ee0 and https://gyazo.com/8591ef454bc7e91fb3c99f8f882000c6 Chameleon: https://gyazo.com/5496b01bba330aa2366b529e8c475764 and https://gyazo.com/80f0325b62ced1a70841126959ba1b1b So i want the Chameleon background to be the same/similar to the Villain theme, Thank you.
Very nice, there is a 4.0.0 version of the theme. And how do i change the title at the top left of the page?
  6. Wait CDN as in cloudflare?? Edit, omg you are one smart motherf**ker i appreciate it!
  7. Weird, because they say there for 4.1.17, can you link a 100% working theme for that version and i will report back if that works
  8. Hello, do take note that i have tried many installs of 2 different versions which are 4.1.17 and 4.1.17.1, both have caused this theme error/malfunction. Currently i have 3 themes, villain, uniform and the default. The default works 100% fine, but when another theme is added, it says nope and doesn't show properly. The problem: - screen1: https://gyazo.com/29eb2e39f001cf4db1d43bd3a0c82013 - screen2: https://gyazo.com/98502fbcb32d823a139c5c1717bc468c As you can see it just doesn't look right, i was thinking if it was something to do with my website being https...
