Twitch, their staff is much more comprehensive than Youtube's, they are more accessible on the social networks and when they try somthing they listen to the community opinion and make the needed changes. THis is basically why lot of youtubers are moving to Twitch

Ubuntu and Debian are the distros it's the easier to start with in my opinion

I've tried macOS at work and it's such a pain in the a** Windows is good right now because most of softwares and games are on it but I really prefer Linux

The problem with gmod is that you need to add plugins to play correctly, and most of them are not free, add on top of that that the graphisms are really bad and you know why Gmod is being abandoned
