Long story short, the girlfriend and I are both into role playing games. Apart from Elder Scrolls Online, WoW, Dota, LoL, what are some good multiplayer RPGs that we can both play? I'm having trouble finding one that has a good lifespan.

Better question is, why would you want to create a gaming website. Not to sound harsh, but they are a dime a dozen. Asked me around 12 years ago and I would have said something different. But with the over use of forums and social sites like Facebook It's sadly a dying age.

IPB just looks cleaner and minimal. It appeals to the eye better than xenforo. Plus the default theme for IPB just looks fantastic with a logo change.

It all depends on what you're using it for and what you require out of the software. myBB is much easier to edit for first time forum owners, whereas IPB can be vastly complex for a new or even intermediate forum owner. I started over 10 years ago on phpbb the progressed into SMF, then myBB. Stayed with myBB for years. That software taught me how to code. I discovered IPB then it was love at first sight (minus the price point lol).
