Cheers already downloaded update and it did help but didn't fix it 100% so had to edit css a little. all id working now.

I have just updated my forums to 4.3.4 and now the default text has changed from white to grey in the navbar / header and also any menus with options images below. the base test colour is set to white in the theme and ive tried changing all text colours in the theme options to white it doesn't change it, does anyone know of a setting in IPB it's self for text or in the css?
