    ​Which host are you using though? ​i am using >>removed<< since they are the only ones i know who offer a google DDoS protection and pretty good support. I was on OVH before which ruined my google ranking due to permanent downtimes.

    I have a forum with more than 360.000 members and i pay 8€ / month for hosting + ddos protection. My forum has a REAL 99,99% uptime and my hoster is pretty awesome. You can´t say cheap hosting is bad just because you experienced it like that. Cheap hosting is not always bad hosting.
