The best ideas for a domain really do come from words from the niche or area you are trying to appeal to, I usually go after one-word domains if I can https://www.expireddomains.net/ is good for searching for and picking up previously used domains, Some have pretty good backlink profiles which give you a headstart when ranking on google but you need to be careful it's just not spammy links.

I agree Wordpress is number one for SEO with a few adjustments, IPB isn't the best but can perform well with an active healthy community.
