  1. Personally, while I can agree it was a bit cheesy and some relatively left-for-wanting acting, it was overall, a good movie, and I want the second one to come out. I think I was just able to enjoy the ride for what it was and I'm sure I'll enjoy the next one.
  2. I'm all about IPS. vB and other community softwares don't stack up against it. Unfortunately, I still feel it lacks a lot and is missing a lot of core essentials to truly being a business swiss army knife though.
  3. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - I have the tri-force tatted on my arm and 4 pixel hearts above it.
Omg thank you, perfect upgrade from 4.4.2 to 4.4.3 Very well done thank you so much Everything is functional so far!
  4. Yeah, that's what I'm having trouble with. I only have 7.0 . I have been attempting to install and activate later versions. I'm going to my hosting provider to see if they can help. It says it's installed, but it won't change from 5.6 on the core server, and the options in my cPanel don't exceed 7.0, even after installing with guides. So once I get this handled, I'll let you guys know what it does UPDATE: Updated to 7.2 and enabled successfully. No dice. I even have the mod installed and enabled that was mentioned above. ------------------------- Turns out a lot was going on with my server. DNS settings were iffy, and the PHP services were finally fully configured and put into play. Fixes: 1. Change to PHP 7.3 2. Ensure your DNS resolver is BIND 3. Coffee⁴
  5. I'm installing PHP 7.3 now on my server to see what it does and I'll report back What I learned is that I can't install PHP 7.3 very well on my CentOS 6 So... maybe this?
  6. Right now, I am staring down two primary options, and they are IPS.Community Commerce and WooCommerce. But really, what I am looking for is this: Referred Sales Commissions (IPS has it) (Woo - has issues) User group based pricing (IPS has it, but 4.3.6 seems clunk-ish) (Woo - configuration is clunky) Gift Cards (IPS has it) (WooCommerce has it, but honestly its really weak) Speed (IPS is fast) (WooCommerce can be fast but overall it seems pretty damned heavy.) Payment Gateways Authorize.NET + PayPal (IPS + Woo both have this) Coupons (IPS + Woo both have this) But here is where I am at... IPS 4.3.6, until I can get it upgraded and working, isn't working, and WooCommerce is just too heavy. I can't use Shoppify, SquareSpace, Wix, or Weebly (most self-respecting webmasters stay away from these anyway). I'm a little curious about Magento and other cart solutions, but at this point, I need some other opinions. I've been spinning my tires in the sand for the last week on this thing, and I need a self-hosted solution to make it work for us. What is your favorite eCommerce shopping cart solution and why? Is it feature rich? Is it fast?
  7. I have PHP version 7.X enabled in my PHP ini, and I have the same trouble as this member. I extract like normally, and when trying a fresh install, I get an error exactly like Maskis. I have also attempted to upgrade from 4.3.6 to 4.4.2 , and same troubles as other members, with it not recognizing. Fresh install for null and retail don't work on my server either for 4.4.2 releases (I've tried a lot now.) CentOS 7 (x64) cPanel / WHM PHP 7.X 100s of GB of space Plenty of CPU power / RAM Nulled and Retail IPS installs attempted.
  8. I would actually like to know if the backend is as well put together on Xenforo as it is on IP.Community suite? To me things like PHPbb are clunky and that's just because I've failed to obtain sufficient php and programming skills. I like the ease that IP.Community brings. Actually, after reviewing XenForo, I really do like it. I am going to demo it out.

    Mac or Windows

I like both. I have a hard time saying no to using both. I really like Windows for what it does, and I like mac for what it does. I like both hardwares, and I like both feels. I am also a Linux kind of guy, but I'm no expert at these others. I am primarily a Windows user.
  10. I am a regular WooCommerce user, and I love it tons and all, but I have heard that Magento has more too it? I looked into it and it felt roughly the same, but at the same time, I haven't fully test driven this other platform. Has anyone in here actually used Magento (OpenSource) and been solid? No extra features needed?
  11. I actually would like to know how well this is going for people, because IPS Community is amazing, and their store is pretty strong, but ease of use seems to be something I run into regularly.
  12. I am thinking about using IPS as a project management system and a means of organizing a group of spaced individuals that need to be aimed towards common goals, events, etc. Has anyone else done this with their forums? Turned them into a project management system? I am also observing SmartSheets and other options as well. But does my approach sound realistically doable, even with learning curbs?
  13. Hey guys, so I am ultra busy, but I have returned. I will try to set some time out of my busy schedule to come forward in here and provide some form of help or value to the community. Congratulations on your long lifespan. I remember before the days of webflake. We were something else entirely, and to be honest, the name escapes me now, but those were good times. But I am still super glad you guys are around and available. Much love guys. Keep it up
  14. I was all like "WHAAAAT" But then I got it ? You can't be all up in this piece without saying hello and thank you and providing some kind of value back to the community. Glad to be back. Glad WebFlake is still here. Honestly my set path has led me away from forums, and now they are back and needed in different areas for better cooler things.
