I've done that, and when adding showtopic=# to the url it does redirect me to the correct topic number, but the url in my url bar goes back to the original one containing the topic name, can I change that?
I see some forums with say: /index.php?showtopic=15 in the URL for a topic, when they are running 3.4.5 (just like I am)
Whereas mine is: /index.php?/topic/659-guide-for-the-internet/
Is there a setting to change it to showtopic=# instead of having the topic name in the title?
Thanks
Is there any way I can edit it as my boards are already up and running and have been for while, without having to reinstall etc?
Edit: Would I be able to create the directory now and just move everything into it?
I don't want to test it and Flake everything up incase it doesn't work
I've noticed on other forums that when I go to post a topic, there is already a format in the text editbox, say for an Introduction or Application template or something like that.
Does anybody know how to do this?
