Yes I have both. But when i Changed the configuration file credentials to point to a new database created with the backup it showed all the previous forums, but with gibberish titles. hm. I might have to upgrade to a newer version to have support. any thoughts? Is there a manual somewhere? thanks for your reply,

I deleted by mistake the Forums application, and when I reinstated it all my previous forums' structure had gone. I believe I have an .sql database somewhere saved, since the forum hasn't been updated for a while. How I go about restoring the old forums from an older database? Or, if I have to, how do I restore the complete website.... ? Many thanks in advance.
